Spain is a country located on the Iberian Peninsula. Its territory includes also the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands. Due to its wide, sandy beaches and mild climate, Spain is one of the top holiday destinations. The eternally shining sun and warm sea are an ultimate invitation to relax. This charming country is not only full of friendly people, but also they are full of energy and optymism.
Spain abounds in many kilometres od wonderful, winding mountain trails offering unforgettable landscapes and just excellent weather for the motorcycle ride.
France is the largest country in Western Europe. Te northern plains, the Pyrenees, Mediterranean and Atlantic coastlines, alpine glaciers, azure lakes, and many other wonders of nature make this country one of the most diverse in the entire continent. There are many reasons why France is the world’s most popular tourist destination. Its monuments, culture, turbulent yet interesting history, museums and galleries, great cuisine and an even greater selection of wine, as well as the climate and stunning diversity of nature each year attract large numbers of visitors to France. If you are a big fan of riding, you will definitely not feel disappointed by this place – winding routes, wonderfully located passes, multi-kilometer roads leading among nature, the opportunity to admire amazing landscapes and many more, will make any riding fan ready for the adventure.
The Pyrenees stretches over 400 kilometers between the provinces of Navarre, Aragon and Catalonia. Running horizontally along the northern part of Spain, the range is called the “natural border” between this country and France. You can find three over 200 mountain peaks reaching over 3,000 meters above sea level. During our trip, we will admire many of the huge number of two- and three-thousand-meter peaks, but also amazing, green, wildlife, wonderfully situated lakes and rivers. The fresh mountain air can make you dizzy! There are also many charming towns on the foothills of the Pyrenees and some of them are included on our route. We begin and end our trip in the Spanish city of Girona boasting one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in Spain and the oldest Jewish district in Europe.
Main attractions
The main attractions of an off-road trip are simply the fact of being away from the paved roads and having a chance of a close contact with nature and the ever-changing landscape.
Off-road riding provides a thrill and a certain challenge that cannot be experienced on asphalt roads. Every off-road difficulty overcome brings great satisfaction. In addition, the trip is full of beautiful views, emotions and an adventure you will long remember. Our route, which is largely mountainous, is also very varied.

That means we will sleep in a different hotel every day. The route is planned so that we can feast our eyes on as many of the magnificent views offered to us by the Pyrenees as possible. It is the enjoyment of admiring nature, using the fantastic roads and breathing in the fresh mountain air that we are prioritising for this trip, far more than the many hours of sightseeing of monuments and architectural wonders.
In addition, the group will be led by an experienced guide who has a great contact with the participants and knows the region very well.
Accommodation is good quality three-star hotels, which will allow us to regenerate and get into the spirit of the region. As far as possible, we choose intimate places offering facilities for motorcyclists.

day 2.
Girona – Vielha
We start from Girona, leaving the surrounding buildings in the Olot direction. Going to a height of several hundred meters above sea level, heading west, we will be feeling the roads winding under our wheels. We will cover a huge number of corners, admire the amazing nature and make a few stops to capture our impressions in photos. Among others, we will pass through located 1120 meters above sea level Coll de Cannes, and then through known for the monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoll from the 9th century Catalan city of Ripoll. Next, passing the picturesque Pantà de la Torrassa reservoir, we will take the C-13 road along the Noguera Pallaresa river valley, up to the breathtaking, located 2072 meters above sea level Port de la Bonaiguado pass. We will turn a high number of bends, admire the views and breath high mountain air. Our way will take us to the picturesque city of Vielha located on the Spanish-French border, where we will stop for the night.

day 3.
Vielha – Jaca
The third day of our trip is the one during which we will be riding on average the highest above sea level throughout the whole tour. Firstly, we will head to the French side of the Pyrenees. There are plenty of spectacular mountain passes waiting for us there – from Col du Portillon at 1293 meters above sea level, through Col de Peyresourde at 1569 meters, we will reach the beautiful Col du Tourmalet. It is located at 2,150 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest pass through which we will pass on the entire route of the trip. On this day, our way will lead us through the high mountains and winding paths, perfect for the motorcycle sensations fans. The return to Spain will lead us through not any less wonderful natural circumstances. The town of Argeles – Gazost will welcome us with its stunning, postcard-like mountain landscape, while the Col d’Aubisque and Col du Portalet passes will provide us with the riding experience of the highest level. On the way back we will admire the water reservoir Embalse de Búbal, and then, riding through the area of the commune of Sabiñánigo we will reach the hotel in Jaca.

day 4.
Jaca – Jaca
This day differs from the others during our trip – will spend two nights in one hotel. Starting in the morning on Spanish sodę, from Jaca, our route will cover wider roads, giving us the opportunity to develop greater speed and have even greater fun from riding. In the afternoon, when we will be entering France, the route will be spectacularly scenic. At the end of this day, riding a narrow road through the forest, we will reach the beautiful Somport Pass, where we again will enter the teritory of Spain, returning through a fairly quick, but picturesque route back to Jaca.

day 5.
Jaca – Vielha
After three very intense days of riding, on day 4 we will start a bit shorter and also a bit calmer second part of the trip. Of course, it doesn’t mean riding the “acess roads” in any case! The road will lead us mainly along the, known as the Axis of the Pyrenees, N-260 route. According to the Spanish side, it’s an easily accessible and very picturesque national road that allows you to feel the atmosphere of the mountains. Leaving Campo behind, we will enter the iconic, impressive Esera River canyon. At the end of the day, we will reach the charming, already known to us, mountain town of Vielha, admiring Pico de Aneto, the highest peak of the Pyrenees, measuring 3404 meters above sea level.

day 6.
Vielha – Berga
Another day full of beautiful views, winding roads and time spent with nature. On the sixth day of our trip, we will cover the jest section of the N-260 road, from which, at some point, we will go down a fantastic mountain route, discovered by our team during one of our wandering sessions in this area. After leaving Vielha, heading towards the town of Tremp, we will pass the Pantà de Sant Antoni reservoir. The next route will lead through the Coll de Nargó commune located in the very center of the mountains, through the Coll de Jou pass to Sant Llorenc, where we will finish the route, reach the hotel and relax before our last day of riding.

day 7.
Berga – Girona
The last day of the trip will be the shortest, but we will still experiemce plenty of excitement. The route, winding and noce, will lead us by the water reservoirs, including the beautifully situated Pantà de la Baells. The moment of rest in such a magical place will surely help us gain strength before the next sections. At the end of our adventure, a fairly easy road will lead us to Girona. We will reach the hotel early enough to finish a successful trip with a farewell dinner, prepare for departure and, of course, make some plans for the next trip!
